Bibidi is a character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He makes his debut in "End of Earth", the 277th episode of Dragon Ball Z, which premiered on September 6, 1995. He, his son and Majin Buu's names are a pun on the name of an incantation in the 1950 film Cinderella, "bibbidi-bobbidi-boo."
[edit] Biography
Bibidi is a stubby wizard responsible for creating the demon Majin Buu millions of years prior to the beginning of Dragon Ball (it is because of this respect that Bibidi is considered the most powerful spellcasting character in the series). Likely in the midst of a "power trip" from his command over Buu, Bibidi embarks on a quest to dominate the universe. This includes the elimination of most of the Supreme Kais ruling over the universe at the time. Initially Bibidi has little control over Buu and buu at one point almost kills Bibidi shortly after destroying the planet Aruhua. It is not until Buu absorbs Southern Supreme Kai and Daikaioh, signaling a personality shift to innocence, that Bibidi is able to take advantage of the monster and he is made to be controled to a certain extent, serving him cake every night for his cooperation in conquering planets.
When Buu eventually becomes disobedient again, however, Bibidi prudently seals the monster within a Magical Ball (an object which bears a resemblance to Xenomorph eggs featured in the Alien franchise), a practice which he continues between his travels to various planets every time Buu again temporarily becomes disobedient, feeding him any sweets he desires if he subordinates himself and resealing him if he is disobedient. During one of Buu's acts of disobedience that again gets him sealed in this ball, Bibidi is ultimately killed in battle by Supreme Kai when his conquests lead him to the planet Earth.

- Flight, the ability to fly with the use of ki.
- Sealing Spell, a spell that is capable of resealing Majin Buu in the Magical Ball. Bibidi teaches his son this incantation, although he never has the chance to use it in his lifetime.
- Ayatsuri no Majyutsu, a spell which Bibidi can cast over any being in an effort to take control of their mind. This spell is only known to work successfully on targets with evil in their hearts. (The only known victim of Bibidi's control spell seems to be Majin Buu himself.)

- Bibidi is the only character in the series to somewhat have control over Kid Buu. He was the only person Kid Buu didn't kill, (although he attempted to once), even though Bibidi was constantly barking orders at him. Under Bibidi's command, Kid Buu killed the Northern and Western Supreme Kais, and attacked the remaining Supreme Kais, (absorbing Southern Supreme Kai and Daikaioh in the process, and thus ceasing to be Kid Buu).
