Explosion caused by Android 20's Bionic Punisher

When Goku remarks that there are too many innocent people in the area to fight near, Android 20 uses this technique to destroy half of the South City suburb of Amenbo Island. He is stopped when Goku retaliates with a punch to the face while decrying him as a monster in outrage.

Android 19 also uses this technique against Super Saiyan Vegeta, but the Saiyan easily withstands it.

Android 16 uses this technique during his fight with Cell.

Video Game Appearances[]

Bionic Punisher was named in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and Raging Blast series. The attack is called Eye Beam in the Supersonic Warriors series, and Photon Laser in Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World. The attack is also seen in the opening cinematic of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it appears under the name Eye Beam as one of Android 16's Super Skills. It is also used by his alternate timeline counterpart, Future Android 16. In Xenoverse 2, it allows the user to fire eye laser blasts while moving. As part of the Masters Pack DLC, the Future Warrior can learn Android 16's Eye Beam by completing Android 16's Initiation Test to train under him.

In Raging Blast, Dr. Gero's version features a Red Ribbon Army logo before firing.
