Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan

Brave Punisher (ブレイブパニッシャー Bureibu Panisshā) is a Rush Attack used by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Second Grade form in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan.

Overview[]

Vegeta charges at the opponent with a fierce right punch to the face before turning around to backflip kick down at the opponent's shoulder. After landing, Vegeta then kicks off the ground to land a second left punch to the opponent's chin before jumping backward, launching two energy spheres as he does so to inflict massive damage.

Vegeta punches Broly

Vegeta uses this attack during the battle against Broly in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan. Paralyzed in fear by Broly's enormous power, Vegeta is unable to fight back while the Dragon Team fight Broly, only to be dominated by the Legendary Super Saiyan. However, when he is berated by Piccolo about not fighting back, Vegeta regains his Saiyan pride and transforms into his Super Saiyan form. He flies to the battlefield and attacks Broly with the Brave Punisher rush, which has no effect, with Broly dodging the face punching maneuver outright, then proceeding to parry Vegeta's kick before deliberately allowing himself to be punched in the chin and revealing such had absolutely no effect on him whatsoever. He then attempted to use the energy sphere portion of the attack upon noticing to his shock that Broly wasn't even phased by his earlier rush attack, as a last ditch effort to stop Broly while attempting to flee, with similar failure. When Future Trunks tries to help Vegeta, Broly punches him away and smashes Vegeta into a cliff, knocking him unconscious.

Video Game Appearances[]

Brave Punisher was named in the Raging Blast series. Strangely, it is one of Super Saiyan Vegeta's Super Attacks instead of his Super form.
