Popo Poco Volcano is a volcanic mountain located close to a small village. The villagers believe that there is a Mountain God who prevents the volcano from erupting, so they created a huge stone statue representing their god and worship it.

OverviewEdit

Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Krillin and Yamcha visit the village prior to their training with Korin and save it from the lava when the volcano erupts. This happens in the Dragon Ball episodes "Walking Their Own Ways" and "Hotter than Lava".

A similar volcanic mountain called Poco Poco Volcano (コポコポ火山) appears in Dragon Ball Z: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans. This volcano is located on an island in the southern sea called Bunbuku Island (ブンブク島), and the Destron Gas machine destroyed by Piccolo is located there. The machine is protected by Kawazu, and enemies encountered on the island in the Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans game are Kinkarn, Ponkarn, Bontan, Arbee, Roszak, Gure, and Skud.

Many years later, during the Shadow Dragon Saga of Dragon Ball GT, the Popo Poco Volcano is the place where Nuova Shenron materializes after the division of Black Smoke Shenron in the seven Shadow Dragons. The arrival of Nuova Shenron causes the volcano to erupt once again, as seen in the episode "The Shadow Dragons".
