Super Guerriers Coffret No. 28 with Caterpy figurine

  • "Super Guerriers" Coffret 28
  • Release date: 1989

The first Caterpy model was produced as a miniature collectible by French company AB Groupe in 1989. The figurines were packaged six in a set and stood at a very small size, at about 2 inches in height. The packaging read as Dragon Ball Z “Super Guerriers” and this specific set was Coffret Number 28 (Series 28). Caterpy stood in a towering manner, with all his hands moving in different directions. All ten hands are depicted with detail even for a miniature piece as Caterpy attempts to maintain a fighting position. This figurine was re-released as a part of the Irwin Toy line quite a few years later in the Super Warriors lineup. Others included in this set were Super Saiyan Teen Gohan, Goku collecting energy for a Spirit Bomb, Super Saiyan Goku, Puar, and Gotenks.
