Chou Maretsugeki (超魔烈撃 Chō Maretsugeki, lit. "Demon's Super Violent Rending") is a Rush Attack used by Gohan in his Super Saiyan form.
Overview[]
As he shouts "Watch this!", Gohan charges at the opponent and elbows them up into the air. Then, he flies up into the air and hook kicks the opponent in their stomach. Next, he attacks the opponent with a punch and a barrage of kicks before roundhouse kicking them away. Finally, Gohan flies after the opponent and hand chops them down to the ground, inflicting a massive amount of damage.
Usage[]
Gohan used this attack against Cell in response to his coaxial attacks.
Video Game Appearances[]
The attack was named Chou Maretsugeki Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, where it is one of Teen Gohan's Blast 2 in his Super Saiyan form. In Budokai Tenkaichi 2, after Gohan shouts "Watch this!", he punches the opponent up and starts "juggling" with him in a triangle shaped series of punches and kicks. Gohan "teleports" to appear before the opponent manages to fly too far away, thus creating the triangle shaped pattern, for moderate damage. In the end, Gohan appears before his opponent and smacks them hard whilst saying "Hah!", making the enemy fly, dealing high damage to them.
In Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, the Chou Maretsugeki appears as a Super Attack for Super Saiyan Gohan, where it is quickly followed by a Super Masenko.
