Dark Planet (暗黒惑星, Ankoku Wakusei^[1] or 黒い星, Kuroi hoshi)^[2] is the planet that was first introduced in the video game Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Saiyajin Zetsumetsu Keikaku.

OverviewEdit

The Dark Planet is where Dr. Raichi's pod docked after he escaped Planet Plant. It is where Dr. Raichi's fortress is located, and the location of many events in the OVA Dragon Ball Z: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.

Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Future Trunks, and Vegeta travel there and defeated Ghost Raichi and his supercomputer Hatchiyack.

Video GamesEdit

The Dark Planet was introduced in Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Saiyajin Zetsumetsu Keikaku. The Z Fighters must defeat four God Guardons in order to open the door to Dr. Raichi's room. Enemies encountered here are Jiku, Bude, Mirage Turles, Phantom Turles, Mind Slug, Mental Slug, Psycho Frieza, Cooler, and Soul Cooler.

It is where Goku faces the final boss Hatchiyack in Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Shin Saiyajin Zetsumetsu Keikaku - Uchū-Hen.

The Dark Planet is a battle stage in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi.

TriviaEdit

• In Raging Blast 2, the design of the battle stage version of the Dark Planet is nothing like the actual design in the movie. Frieza's spaceship can be seen in the background, possibly a reference to the original Famicom game.
