Spike brought out the weapon as a last resort when his Devilmite Beam failed to kill Goku. He uses Magic Materialization to make the Demon Fork and proceeds to attack Goku with the weapon. However, he was still quickly defeated by Goku.
Video game appearances
Spike the Devil Man appears with his Demon Fork in Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo, Dragon Ball: Origins 2, and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. In Budokai Tenkaichi 3, the fork is used as part of the Fork Attack and during the Demon Fork Rush.
Similar weapons appear wielded by devils in concept art for Dragon Ball Online, however they are not forks. In the fourth God Mission trailer for Dragon Ball Heroes, Psidevilman is shown with his own Demon Fork.
Additionally, the Demon Fork is trophy No. 35 in Advanced Adventure and a treasure item in Revenge of King Piccolo.
