[edit] Game Play
Unlike its predecessor, this game's elements are more similar to that of the Butōden series and Buyū Retsuden for Super Famicom and Mega Drive respectfully. A unique feature is that each character his or her own game ending that does or doesn't fit into the series' own storyline. The game is also known for it's darker water color palette.

- A strange glitch in the game happens after you beat your doppleganger in which every character afterwards uses their "Player 2" color palette.
- Goku's Super Move in this game could best be described as a "Dragon Fist Kamehameha". Using the Dragon Balls, Goku charges his Kamehameha with the power of Shenron and sends it flying at his opponent. This move has not been seen again in any game.
