Dream Land is an amusement park located in West City. It is elevated unlike most amusement parks.
Overview[]
Goku, Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar come here and are followed by Hasky and her two partners, who want to steal Goku's Dragon Balls for the Red Ribbon Army. Goku, Oolong, and Puar play on the rides and attractions to their hearts' content while Bulma and Yamcha observe. Despite paying for the tickets herself, Bulma spends the majority of the time sulking, as does Yamcha who feels guilt over not outright rejecting his fangirls whose presence have strained their relationship.
Hasky and her partners follow them in after pick-pocketing off of three other park guests and devise a plan to snatch the Dragon Balls from Goku without much confrontation. She first tests Goku's senses and reflexes by tossing a walnut from afar that ricocheted off a moving roller coaster. She then roleplays as a fortune-telling damsel in distress being manhandled by her two partners to lure Goku and his friends to rescue her. Hasky gives her thanks by offering to tell their fortunes, her intent is to lure Goku into taking them out of his bag as part of the fortune telling and then to swap them with fakes during a brief electric black-out. This plan ultimately fails, as her partners clumsily trip and reveal their presence. Goku, Oolong, and Puar chase after the two men while Yamcha is left with the Dragon Balls for safekeeping.
Hasky resorts to seduction, but Yamcha's weakness to attractive women causes him to stumble backwards and knock over a pot, where the real fortune teller was bound and gagged. With the truth exposed, Hasky attacks Yamcha with a sword, slashing the curtains behind him. Bulma, who was outside looking to investigate the commotion, sees Yamcha with his back turned and mistakes Hasky kissing him when in reality she kicking his legs to break free of the arm lock he had her in. Bulma jumps through the window and hurls a crate at Yamcha from behind, immobilizing him and storming off. Hasky takes advantage of Bulma's violent reaction to tie Yamcha up.
Meanwhile, Goku, Oolong, and Puar catch up and corner Hasky's two lackeys in the park and drag them back to the fortune teller's place, just after Hasky informs Yamcha of the bomb in the park she's planted and makes off with the Dragon Balls. Yamcha tells Goku to chase after her and break the remote hanging on her hips to deactivate the bomb save everyone in the park. Goku calls for his Flying Nimbus and flies out of the hole atop the glass dome of the park, catching up to Hasky, breaking the remote and recovering his Dragon Balls in the process.
