Super 17 places his hands forward as if he were going to do a Flash Bomb attack, only he forms a sphere of deep black energy that has another gray sphere inside it that turns black in the center and has red electricity flowing around it. If he charges the attack for a few seconds, it seems to take on a decagon shape, but most commonly looks like a circle. Once he fires it, it leaves a shot black trail of energy behind before it hits the target, very easily causing a nuke-sized explosion that destroys everything caught in the explosion.
Electro Eclipse Bomb is the attack he uses to kill Dr. Myuu when he wants to prove no one controls him.
Appearances in games
The attack is named Shocking Death Ball in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, yet Super 17 calls out "Electric Hell Sphere!" when he uses it. Named Blitz Hell Ball (電撃地獄玉), the attack is also Super 17's ultimate attack in Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World (where it is a purple orb surrounded by a red, white and pink outer layer) and Dragon Ball Heroes. The attack can also be used by Super 17 w/ Cell absorbed in Dragon Ball Heroes.
In Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, it one again appears under the name Shocking Death Ball and Super 17's Ultimate Skill. Interestingly once again Super 17 calls out a different name when preforming the technique, Electro Eclipse Bomb!. Future Warrior can also obtain this Ultimate skill via making a wish to Shenron for more Ultimate Skills.
- Despite being named Shocking Death Ball in Budokai Tenkaichi and Xenoverse, Super 17's FUNimation voice actor Chuck Huber will call out a different name when performing the in those games. He calls it Electric Hell Sphere in Budokai Tenkaichi and Electro Eclipse Bomb in Xenoverse.
