Execution Beam (処刑光線 Shokeikōsen, lit. "Execution Light Beam) is an energy wave attack used by King Vegeta.

King Vegeta kills a messenger with the Execution Beam

To perform it, he steps back and puts his hand forward and charges a purple energy sphere. Then, he fires the energy sphere in the form of a small energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Usage and Power

King Vegeta uses this attack in one of Frieza's flashbacks to execute a Saiyan messenger as punishment for failing to capture planet Tazba on time due to the full moon being three days away. King Vegeta is also seen using the Execution Beam in one of Paragus' flashbacks to order the latter's execution along with his son Broly.[1]

Video Game Appearances

Execution Beam is named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and is one of King Vegeta’s Blast 2 attacks. It is named Power Break (パワーブレイク) in Dragon Ball Heroes.
