Directory: TechniquesOffensive TechniquesRush Attack

Explosive Demon Impact (爆裂魔衝 Bakuretsu Mashō) is a Rush Attack used by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form.

Overview[]

As he shouts, "I'm not finished!", Gohan charges at the opponent and roundhouse kicks them in their face. Then, he charges at the opponent again and hook kicks them away, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Usage[]

Gohan uses this attack during his battle against Cell. When an enraged Perfect Cell transforms into his Power Weighted form and tries to attack Gohan, the young Saiyan easily dodges the Android's sluggish assault due to his muscular size. Gohan then attacks Power Weighted Perfect Cell with the Explosive Demon Impact, severely injuring the Android and forcing him to regurgitate Android 18, thus reverting him back into his Semi-Perfect form. In between blows, Cell decried Gohan as not being a boy, but a monster.

Trivia[]

  • In some airings of the episode, the scene where Cell vomits 18 as a result of this attack is edited to occur offscreen (specifically, it cuts right to Gohan smirking psychotically while Cell is heard screaming in agony).
