The Father-Son Kamehameha is Gohan's ultimate attack in his Super Saiyan 2 form he used in the final battle against Super Perfect Cell. When Gohan uses the Kamehameha against Super Perfect Cell's Solar Kamehameha, he is spiritually assisted by Goku. Even so, Super Perfect Cell is able to nearly overpower Gohan several times due to his broken arm injury. However, as Super Perfect Cell prepares to finish off Gohan, Vegeta distracts the android with a Big Bang Attack. Seeing this opportunity, Gohan (encouraged by Goku) unleashes all the rest of his power into the Father-Son Kamehameha, overpowering the Solar Kamehameha and destroying Super Perfect Cell once and for all.
The attack was named in the Budokai series. In the Budokai and the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series, it is SSJ2 Teen Gohan's Ultimate Blast.
