"I...I SAID MOVE!!"
Gohan before dealing Frieza the brutal blow in "Frieza Bares His Fangs! Gohan's Overwhelming Attack!"

Gekiretsu Madan (激烈魔弾 lit. "Raging Fury Demon Bullet")[12][13][14] is a variation of the Masenko used by Gohan.

Overview[]

GohanAttacksFrieza

Gohan repeatedly punches Frieza in the stomach

After giving into his anger and releasing more of his hidden power, Gohan launches a right hook kick into the side of the opponent's head with incredulous force, before striking them in the head again with his left fist and delivering a brutal series of punches to their gut. This is followed by a left uppercut and a barrage of downward kicks, ending in a double kick that sends the opponent flying. Gohan gives chase by flinging a golden energy sphere at them before following up with a second blast smack-fired directly at their face, which knocks them into the ground. Finally, Gohan charges up all of his energy and launches a massive barrage of yellow energy waves at the helpless opponent, dealing catastrophic damage and enveloping them in a golden dome of light.

Usage[]

"In..Incredible! When his emotions run wild, he loses control and taps into some sort of vast hidden power! Not even Frieza could withstand it..."
Vegeta's thoughts after witnessing Gohan's assault in "Frieza Bares His Fangs! Gohan's Overwhelming Attack!"

During the events on Namek, Frieza reveals his second form to the gathered Dragon Team, violently displaying his power and leaving them speechless, before impaling Krillin with Death Fork and flinging him into the water to drown. Believing it's not too late to save Krillin, Gohan orders Frieza to move and - unable to contain his anger any longer - charges forward with an explosive power increase that leaves even Frieza shocked long enough for Gohan to deliver the full force of the Gekiretsu Madan, ruthlessly beating up Frieza and blasting him to the ground. Gohan ends his onslaught by firing a Masendan down at the energy dome, intensifying the attack to the point where it turns red and explodes. Frieza is able to rise back up but admits the technique did hurt him quite a bit before continuing the battle. Likewise, Vegeta is left shock at the power Gohan's anger momentarily produced from him.[15]

In the anime, Gohan uses this technique against Super Saiyan Goku in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.[16]

Seven-Three uses this technique against Gohan and Piccolo after copying their abilities. However, they dodge the barrage and Gohan punches Seven-Three into the sea.[11]
