Finish Buster (フィニッシュバスター Finisshu Basutā) is an Energy Sphere used by Trunks and Future Trunks.
Overview[]
First, Trunks raises his hands into the sky and charges a large energy sphere. Then, he swings his hands down and fires the ball of energy at the opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.
Usage[]
Future Trunks uses this technique as part of the Heat Dome Attack he uses to destroy Future Cell (also declaring that the nightmare caused by the androids as well as Cell is over).[6]
Film Appearances[]
In Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, Kid Trunks uses a Finish Buster against Bio-Broly while upside down.
Variations[]
- Heat Dome Attack – Future Trunks tosses his opponent in the air. Then he charges a ton of energy around him before blasting a large Finish Buster at the opponent.
- Super Finish Buster - An enlarged and stronger variation of this technique used by Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Finish Buster was named in Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.
In the Budokai Tenkaichi series, it is Future Trunks and Kid Trunks Ultimate Blasts in their base forms, as well as one of Future Trunks' Blast 2 in his Super Saiyan Third Grade form.
In the European version of Shin Budokai, it is misspelled Finish Bustert in the in-game Command List.
In Dragon Ball Heroes, is used by Super Baby Trunks in God Mission 6.
In Xenoverse, both the Finish Buster and its more powerful variant (Heat Dome Attack) appear as a Super Skill and an Ultimate Skill, respectively. The Future Warrior can also obtain both of these Skills.
In Xenoverse 2, it returns as one of Future Trunks and Kid Trunks' Super Skills, which can also be obtained by the Future Warrior by purchasing it from the skill shop after defeating Kid Buu in the Main Story.
Trivia[]
- Interestingly in Bio-Broly, Trunks fires the attack upside-down in a manner almost identical to how Future Android 18 performed her Energy Cannon attack on Teen Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks. The only difference is Finish Buster is an Energy Sphere while Energy Cannon is an Energy Wave.
