"Avenge the Fallen, Goku! Countdown to the Planet's Destruction" (仇を討て孫悟空！惑星崩壊のカウントダウン Kataki o Ute Son Gokū! Wakusei Hōkai no Kauntodaun, lit. "Exact Vengeance, Son Goku! The Countdown to the Planet's Collapse") is the forty-ninth episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai. This episode first aired in Japan on March 21, 2010. Its original American airdate was December 16, 2010.
Summary[]
Super Saiyan Goku
Frieza detonates Namek's core with his Destroy The Planet! and exclaims that the planet will explode in five minutes. Super Saiyan Goku states that five minutes is more than enough time to defeat the tyrant and get his friends off the planet. Frieza then decides to power up to 100% Full Power, which, much to King Kai's amazement, Goku allows the tyrant to do. King Kai tries to persuade Goku to finish Frieza before he reaches full power. However, Goku states that he wants to beat Frieza at his best, and despite King Kai protests, furiously declares that he wants to avenge Krillin as he cannot be revived again with the Earth's Dragon Balls.

Meanwhile, Gohan drops Piccolo off at the Capsule Corporation Spaceship, and goes to rescue Bulma, succeeding just seconds before she is crushed by rocks.
