Powering Rage[1] is a blocking technique that has been primarily used by villains.

Overview[]

The user holds their hand forward in front of them in an attempt to block an incoming attack. To increase the potency of the block, they may also use their other hand, either to hold their other wrist or to block alongside the first hand.

Usage[]

Final Form Frieza uses this block when Goku fires his 20x Kaio-ken Kamehameha at him, managing to reduce the damage to nothing more than a burn on his hand, though the tyrant is enraged at the resulting damage regardless.
