"First Up for the Ginyu Force! Guldo's Time Freeze!" (特戦隊の一番手！ グルドの呪縛を打ち崩せ Tokusentai no Ichibante! Gurudo no Jubaku o Uchi Kuzuse, lit. "The Special Squadron's Frontline Man! Break Gurd's Spell") is the twenty-ninth overall episode in the Dragon Ball Z Kai series. This episode first aired in Japan on October 25, 2009. Its original American airdate was July 8, 2010.
Summary[]
Guldo freezes time to avoid Gohan and krillin's blasts
Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan are found by the Ginyu Force when they arrive where Vegeta left the Namekian Dragon Balls he collected. The Dragon Balls are taken from them and Ginyu decides to take them to Frieza while his team handles the Dragon Team. After a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, Guldo goes first and faces Krillin and Gohan.

Gohan and Krillin struggle against Guldo due to his ability to time freeze. Guldo then shows off another impressive ability, the power to paralyze his opponents. After doing so on Gohan and Krillin as they are unable to move, Guldo retrieves and sharpens a huge tree and prepares to skewer Krillin. Fortunately, in the nick of time, Vegeta appears and decapitates Guldo. Recoome goes next and confronts Vegeta. Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta hope that Goku arrive soon to help them against the hulking giant and his comrades.
