Hidden Potential (秘めたる力, Himetaru Chikara, lit. "Hidden Power") is an Energy Wave used by Gohan.

Overview

First, Gohan charges up and creates a whitish-blue energy sphere around his entire body. He then flies forward with his arms in front of him and fires a huge whitish-blue energy wave from his fists at the opponent, inflicting a massive amount of damage.

Usage

Gohan uses this attack at the start of his training with Piccolo in preparation for the Saiyan invasion of Earth. Curious of the amazing power Gohan displayed against Raditz, Piccolo decides to test it by throwing the young Saiyan toward a large boulder. Gohan becomes frightened at first, but he manages to regain his focus and destroys the entire boulder with the "Hidden Potential" energy wave, much to Piccolo's shock and amazement.

In Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone, Gohan uses his hidden power when Garlic Jr. tries to pull his father into the Dead Zone. Gohan goes into a rage, drawing out his hidden power which is enough to blast Garlic Jr. backwards into the Dead Zone.

In Burst Limit, it is named Hidden Potential where it appears as one of Kid Gohan's Ultimate Blasts, with its color changed to yellow.

In Raging Blast, it is named Hidden Power where it is one of Gohan's Super Attacks and colored blue and white.
