"Hnhnhnhnhn...I guess I don't know my own strength. I was having such a fun time absorbing people, I didn't realize I'd taken so much more power than I actually needed! Oh, well. Gyahahaha..."
Cell in "Run, Android 17! Piccolo's All-Or-Nothing Struggle!"

Zetsumei Bullet (絶命弾 Zetsumeidan)[4], also known as See Ya! (じゃあな! Jāna!), is a Rush Attack used by Cell.

Overview[]

First, Cell charges at the opponent and punches them away onto the ground, breaking their neck. Then, he walks toward the opponent and picks them up with his left hand as he places his right hand over their chest. Finally, Imperfect Cell shouts "See you!" (in Raging Blast) or "Goodbye!" (in Raging Blast 2) as he fires a large yellow energy wave through the opponent's chest, inflicting a massive amount of damage. In at least the anime, when making his remark before firing the beam, his tone drops down to an almost demonic pitch.

Piccolo before getting blasted by the "See Ya!" energy wave

Imperfect Cell uses this attack during his battle against Piccolo. When Imperfect Cell is left unfazed by Piccolo's Light Grenade, Piccolo tells Android 17 to run so he can avoid being absorbed. However, Imperfect Cell interrupts Piccolo and attacks him with the Zetsumei Bullet, breaking his neck, blasting a hole through his chest, and throwing him into the ocean. Tien as well as Androids 16, 17, and 18, all of whom had directly witnessed the attack, were shown to be horrified and disgusted by it (with 17 even denouncing Cell as a beast for his actions against the Namekian), while Goku and Gohan saw it occur from the Lookout via Telepathy and Ki Sense. Though being left badly injured, Piccolo survives and is soon rescued by Goku, who takes him, along with Tien, back to the Lookout to recover.

In Supersonic Warriors 2, Perfect Cell uses this technique to end his Ultimate K.O., Full Power Rush.

In the Raging Blast series, it is named See Ya! and is Imperfect Cell's Ultimate Blast.

In Xenoverse 2, it is named Zetsumei Bullet and appears as one of Imperfect Cell's Ultimate Skills.

In Dokkan Battle, it is Cell (1st Form)'s Ultra Super Attack.

In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Cell only punches Piccolo and never blasts him through the stomach.

Trivia[]

  • Cell's specific reasons for using the beam version of See Ya on Piccolo varied between versions. In the original and remastered dubs, Cell did so due to having already gotten enough of Piccolo's DNA from both his own creation via Dr. Gero and his earlier attempt at absorbing him and thus had no further use for Piccolo by that point. In the Kai dub as well as the manga, Cell did so because his earlier punch inadvertently broke Piccolo's neck due to failing to take into account how much strength he had gained from his mass absorption of people beforehand due to being distracted with "having fun" regarding such.
