"There...Take notes, that's a real Kamehameha!"
Goku after unleashing the attack in "Minute of Desperation"

True Kamehameha (本場のかめはめ波 Honba no Kamehameha) is a more powerful version of the Super Kamehameha used by Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 form. It is slightly brighter than a regular Kamehameha.

Overview[]

Minute of Desperation - True Kamehameha deflect

The True Kamehameha blasts Kid Buu's arm

As he says, "Get ready for the real deal!", Goku draws his hands to his right side. Then, he prepares the Super Kamehameha, but charges his Super Saiyan 3 energy within it, making it brighter and more powerful. Finally, Goku shouts "Kamehameha!" and fires the attack against the opponent, inflicting a massive amount of damage.

Usage[]

Goku uses this attack against Kid Buu. When Kid Buu fires a Super Kamehameha at Goku, he blocks it and fires the True Kamehameha. Kid Buu manages to deflect it to the side, but loses his right hand and left arm in the process. Goku calls it the True Kamehameha when insulting Kid Buu, claiming Buu's Kamehameha is merely a cheap imitation.

While fighting Beerus on King Kai's Planet, Super Saiyan 3 Goku attempts to hit Beerus with his True Kamehameha twice, the first time Beerus easily blocks the attack with his finger, and the second time he simply dodges out of the way and gets behind Goku, causing the attack to blow a hole through King Kai's planet.

During the New Space-Time War Saga, Gogeta Blue uses a True Kamehameha to both mock and overpower Super Saiyan Rosé 3 Crimson-Masked Saiyan's own Kamehameha. Crimson is obliterated by the attack, but regenerates thanks to his immortality and achieves Super Saiyan Rosé Full Power through Saiyan Power.

Goku also uses a similar powerful Kamehameha as a Super Saiyan 3 in the Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Super Collaboration Special, in order to deal the final blow to the monster Akami.
