Eagle Kick (イーグルキック Īgurukikku) is a Rush Attack used by Videl.

Overview[]

First, Videl hits her opponent three times causing moderate damage. She then performs a knee strike, then a left-legged side kick, and finally a right-legged roundhouse kick that sends the opponent away, with an enormous amount of damage inflicted.

Usage[]

VidelKick3

Side kick (second blow)

Videl uses strikes similar during her match against Spopovich in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament. Her second strike is very similar to her father's Dynamite Kick.

Variation[]

  • Justice Eagle - A variation of Eagle Kick used by Videl as Great Saiyaman 2 in Super Dragon Ball Heroes, World Mission, and Dokkan Battle. It can also be learned by Berserker type Hero Avatars in World Mission. In the Super Dragon Ball Heroes series it is performed just like Eagle Kick and uses the same amount of Hero Energy (4 by default), however in Dokkan Battle it takes the form of an pink Energy Kick.

Video Game Appearances[]

Eagle Kick was named in the Budokai series and in Dragon Ball Heroes. In these video games, Videl can charge it by holding the buttons down for a second, making her leg glow blue. Then, she attacks in the same manner as before, only inflicting more damage this time.

"Unleash a knee-kick while jumping upwards! Can be used during a jump as well!"
Dragon Ball Xenoverse Skill description

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Eagle Kick appears as one of Videl's Super Skills and can be learned by the Future Warrior during Gohan and Videl's training as the Warrior's Masters. When performing the technique the image of eagle wings appear from the user's back and only consists of only a single jumping knee-kick which can also be used during an actual jump.

"Perform a strike that knocks the opponent into the air. Can also be used while jumping."
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Tutorial description

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the Eagle Kick returns as one of Videl's Super Skills which the Future Warrior can learn by completing Gohan & Videl's Initiation Test to training under them. After the 1.09.00 Update, it can be added to Pan's custom skillset after purchasing it in Partner Customization. When performing the Eagle Kick, Pan will say "This is mom's technique!" when performing it referencing her mother as its inventor.

In Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, Great Saiyaman 2 uses the Justice Eagle variation as her Super Attack.

In Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Justice Eagle is also utilized by Great Saiyaman 2 as her Super Attack. In World Mission, both Eagle Kick and Justice Eagle appear as Super Attack Accessories that allows it to be added to Custom Character Cards or equipped to both Custom and existing cards in a Custom Deck allowing them to utilize the version that they are equipped with as their Super Attack instead of their normal Super Attack. However the player can customize how much Hero Energy is required to use it by custom cards (unless equipped via the Custom Deck) and the more Hero Energy required the stronger the attack will be. However both Eagle Kick and Justice Eagle use the same amount of Hero Energy by default (4 Hero Energy is the default amount for both Super Attacks). Additionally, Justice Eagle can be learned by Berserker type Hero Avatars once Great Saiyaman 3's Camaraderie reaches Lvl 4 (Videl and Great Saiyaman 3 are counted as separate characters thus increasing Videl's Camaraderie Level has no effect on Great Saiyaman 2's Camaraderie Level and vice versa).
