The Flashing Kamehameha is a golden flashing version of the Kamehameha used by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form. First, Gohan charges up an incredible amount of energy so that the golden energy aura around his body keeps flashing. Then, he brings his cupped hands to his left side and charges a golden-yellow Kamehameha. Finally, Gohan fires the attack with the flashing golden light surrounding it and his body at the opponent, inflicting a powerful amount of damage and even creating a mushroom cloud in its wake.
Gohan used this attack against Babidi, Dabura, and Majin Buu, however, by this time, Majin Buu was already sealed inside of his cacoon. Thinking that Majin Buu's strength to much for them to handle, Supreme Kai orders that he and Gohan need to retreat to wait and regroup with the others so they can think of some way to defeat Majin Buu. However, Gohan, determined to protect the people he cares about, rejects Supreme Kai's order and says that even though he is not strong enough against Majin Buu's power, he still needs to try.
Gohan powers up and fires the Flashing Kamehameha, which Babidi and Dabura manage to dodge and the attack hits Majin Buu's cocoon. However, as the smoke clears, the cacoon appears unaffected by the attack, only slightly teeter-tottering from side to side. Gohan again fired the Flashing Kamehameha to try to destroy the cocoon, but like the first try, the attack fails to destroy it and instead, it only knocks the cocoon up into the air.
The attack is seen in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. In this video game, it is named, "Super Kamehameha", and is SSJ2 Adult Gohan's Ultimate Blast.

- Super Flashing Kamehameha - An enhanced version of the Flashing Kamehameha that Gohan used to try and destroy Majin Buu's cacoon. However, it still proved no effect, as the egg hatched and released Majin Buu.
