Okay this can get really complicated so pay real close attention. The Buu saga took place 7 years after the Andriod/Cell saga . The Future Trunks Saga was 20 years after the andriod saga. SOOOOO the buu saga never occured in trunks timeline. Babidi maybe left Earth because the lack of power or simply because his shell was found and destryoed . I'm not entirely sure about this so if you have any disagrements leave them below. No nedd to call me a douche or any other curse words. Thank you!!!

Shin Budokai Another Road[]
In this game, Babidi does indeed come to Earth after the defeat of the androids, forcing Future Trunks to go back in time to get help from the Buu saga Z fighters. It's possible that Babidi deemed it too risky to go to Earth while it was being ravaged by the androids. But after their defeat he could come to Earth to gather energy from Future Trunks to revive Buu. Janemba4eva (talk) 02:19, October 9, 2012 (UTC)

Buu could never be revived in Trunks' time because they need to absorb energy first, since nobody is even close to Gohan's power in that time and his max only 1/2 powered Buu's ball they would have to find another planet. They only planet with enough power that is seen in the anime is Rildo's planet, in which case Rildo would probably destroy Dabura, Babidi and the ball (buu) before they can take his energy anyway
