Ok, as we all know, Ult Gohan is at the peak of hiw power after being unlocked by the old Kai. Which means he can access to his full power at his own will. Also, it means he doesn't get any stronger from there on, which is why he doesn't go SSJ anymore: he's already at the peak of his strenght and transformations that make him stronger are, thus, impossible. Now regarding the kaioken, unless I'm mistaken, it duplicates your base energy, and when your energy is greater and yuor body can endure it, it gives a greater boost, as seen in Goku-Vegeta and Goku-Ginyu: Goku was more powerful against Ginyu than against Vegeta, and thus the Kaioken gave him more power. So, do you think Gohan could learn this? It is a technicke after all, not a transformation. Thoughts?

Forum Could Ultimate Gohan learn and use the Kaioken?

He could learn it of course, but I think Old Kai must be stronger than King Kai so he should have known about this move, and probably would have taught it to Gohan if he required it.

Also, since Gohan can already access all his power, the kaioken might have very little effect to his power

He could is he wanted to, but just like Goku, it'd be too dangerous to use most of the time. --DARK 19:23, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

Yes he could. And it would actually be frigging sick. Dragonball 33852 Shakuran13 HATCHYACK Perish. Hatchiyack1 21:07, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

And he didn't go to King Kai's ever.

I think he could but it would probably do little help. now trying to advance to ssj3 form after re-training with supreme kai would be sick!!!

How about this?[]

On a similar note to Kaio-Ken, Great Ape magnifies a pure/hybrid Saiyan's base form by 10 (however it's a transformation not a powerup so it can be sustained for much longer than Kaio-Ken). Great ape was no longer of use to the Saiyan Z Fighters because, even if they could have gained control over the form as Vegeta had shown possible in the Saiyan Saga, the Super Saiyan transformation magnified their base form by 50. As the fighters discovered more transformations Great Ape became even weaker by comparison. So if a Super Saiyan wanted to go Great Ape they would either have to revert to their base form, or the transformation would still only be 10xBASE and therefore 0.2xSuper-Saiyan, as opposed to 10xSuper-Saiyan. However Gohan's peak of power in his Ultimate form IS his base form.

So my question is, would Ultimate Great Ape Gohan in control of his thoughts and actions have been possible and therefore the most powerful in all of DBZ aside from Vegito, Gogeta and Janemba? And would it have been worth the Old Kai stripping Goku and Vegeta of their Super Saiyan powers in return for their Ultimate Great Ape forms to create the three far most powerful Z Fighters (aside from Vegito/Gogeta if you count them)? What are your thoughts? :) Ultra Buugetto (talk) 16:51, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

I've thought about this and it's not how the transformations work. Also if this was how it worked a race with lots of transformations multiplying their power levels (e.g. the Saiyans) then you could achieve almost infinite power ("My power is maximum") by for example giving the base form the power of SSJ2 and going SSJ3 so yeah it's all nonsense, sos :P Ultra Buugetto (talk) 16:51, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

Of Course[]

Yes, he could learn it.  There is nothing stopping him.

He would need to re-train 1st, then go back to Kaioshin to get a full training course to go beyond his limits. This time he will need to be in mystic form while training.

He could learn it, but I'm not sure how much use it would have. IMO Kaioken draws from hidden power too, and Gohan already has all of his drawn out far beyond its limits.
