[[Category:{{{1}}}|Gogeta SSJ5 and other theories.]]

Well, this is, of course, just a theory. But I wonder..

Vegito and Gogeta, whom appeard in DBZ, never transformed over SSJ. Vegito actually starts his fights against Buu in his base form (although this didnt happen on the manga, and IMO, he was too strong in that form to be "true"), and Gogeta fought Janemba in his SSJ form as well. We all know that then could, easily, turn into SSJ3. Gotenks is a living proof. Both Goten and Trunks could even go SSJ2, and theirs SSJ forms wouldn't even be as strong as teen Gohan SSJ, for example, but just by seen Goku turning into SSJ3 and some days training and mastering the transformation, they could do the SSJ3 transformation quite easily.

SO.. this got me thinking. Gogeta and Vegito never transforms into SSJ2 or SSJ3 because they didnt need to, after all, Vegito easily outpower Buu and Gogeta well.. obliterated Janemba with one ki power. But, of course, they could easily go SSJ2, 3 and who knows, 4. We, also, all know that Gogeta SSJ4 made Omega Shenron looked like a joke. So, maybe, just maybe, Gogeta could go SSJ5. After all, like I said, if Goten and Trunks whom never reached SSJ2 could turn SSJ3 fusioned, maybe Goku and Vegeta that could go SSJ4, maybe could turn SSJ5 fusioned! The same could be applied to Gogeta and Vegito in DBZ, reaching SSJ4 level but this is more difficult to speculate.

Thoughts?

Don't think so...[]

This reasoning doesn't make sense. Just because Gogeta was SSJ4 doesn't mean he's capable of SSJ5. Here are my reasons why:

1. If Gogeta could go SSJ5 during his fight with Omega Shenron, why didn't he just do it and have it done with? I know he had a trickster attitude, but since he was at the highest Super Saiyan level known at the time, I think he would've stepped it up a notch if he knew he could.

2. Aside from the knowledge of SSJ1, which was passed down through Saiyan legend, each form needed to be discovered through intense training and natural warrior insight. If Goku or Vetgeta were contemplating going past SSJ4, they would've needed time to train and figure it out. Gogeta couldn't have just pulled it out of behind, no matter how strong he got. He needed to have knowledge of it or at least an inkling of how to obtain it.

3. SSJ5 might have some wierd way to transform besides emotional upheaval and a high PL, like having to control yourself as a Golden Great Ape to become SSJ4.

If there was a SSJ5 level, I'm sure that Gogeta would have the easiest time attaining it with his massive PL, Vegeta's determination, and Goku's natural talent, but I don't think he could do it while he was fighting Omega Shenron. He would need time.

SUPER GOOD RESPONSES[]

I explained the number 1, quoting Vegito and Gogeta on DBZ. They, obviously, could turn SSJ2 and SSJ3, since both Goku and Vegeta could turn SSJ2 easily and Goku by that time could alone turn SSJ3, so Goku fusioned with Vegeta, by Potara or Dance, would be able to turn as well. So, why they didnt? Because they didnt need to. Vegito and Gogeta on theirs SSJ forms were already waay stronger than their enemies (Buu and Janemba). And this is exactly what happened on Gogeta when he fought Omega Shenron, he on his SSJ4 form was already a lot stronger than Omega, so, therefore, this didnt even need to try a SSJ5 form.

Your second point is solid, although Gotenks could turn SSJ3 quite easily (they only stand for 2 weeks at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and most of the time was only to dominate the SSJ3 transformation and mostly to create duzens of special technics; he probably could already turn SSJ3 in the first few days; and the SSJ3 is the most difficult one), and he is just a fusion with 2 little kids with only the power to turn only SSJ, whom had only saw the SSJ3 tranformation, and only once in a short period. So, Goku and Vegeta, who are a lifetime more experienced then their kids, with a lot more power (afterall they could go SSJ4, so SSJ5 is only one step away; Goten and Trunks couldnt even go SSJ2) probably could go SSJ5 when fusioned, right? The logic, at least, is solid in my opinion..

3. Maybe.. but then again, we dont really know and the SSJ4 was an exception. And this probably works different for fusions. The SSJ4 itself, Goku, for example, doesnt need to turn into the great ape everytime.

And last, I didnt exactly said that Gogeta "could" turn SSJ5 on his fight against Omega Shenron, like you said, he would need some time to at least try the transformation; but, again in my opinion, he could, at least after the fight. Lets say that Goku and Vegeta fusion again to see if the could surpass the SSJ4 level; maybe they could then? Im not saying "YES, FOSURE!", since we dont know what the SSJ5 transformation requires, so it is pure speculative, it is just a thought. I just think that my logic is kinda correct, and if the SSJ5 doesnt need some fancy stuff, just raw power (like SSJ2 and 3, according to Goku and Vegeta transformations).

i have calculated that ssj5 fusion power level would be 11880000000000000 which is 11.88 quadrilian i have FOUND out that ssj5 is 396,000x base form i put goku at 300,000,000 at base form and vegeta at 300,000,000 also. i did 300,000,000 times 396,000 and got 118800000000000 which is 118.8 trillion. i also found out that the fusion dance is a+b times 50, so 118800000000000(gokus power level) plus 118800000000000(vegetas power level) which is 237600000000000 or 237.6 trillion.  then 237600000000000 times 50 is 11880000000000000. the spirit burst makes the power level rise 50 fold or 50 times. so 11880000000000000 times 50 is 594000000000000000 or 594 quadrilian. but for example to make it full powered lets say before this they suffered an almost fatal hit and ate a senso bean. they will get a 150% power. 50% of 594 quadrilian is 297 quadrilian, so 594 quadrilian plus 297 quadrilian is 891 quadrilian
