the first ones are pretty simple, the second ones are basically just bigger versions of the first ones, the third ones sort of change the course of the transformations by changing the facial features and making the heads longer, and the fourth forms sort of revert back to the person't original form, with a few changes.

Super Saiyan 2 is not any bigger then a regular Super Saiyan. For your picture, your SS was Goten, who was shorter then your SS2, Gohan.
I dont think the poster means bigger in size.They probably mean bigger in power coz 2nd form freiza and ssj2 gohan are just stronger versions of their previous form. But there is still a few changes in their hair and muscle mass. In freizas case height- matarrok
