Hello Everyone, Just wanted to post my opinion on what the DBZ power levels are. Obviously some of you will disagree and have your own opinion which you are entitled to, however as a massive Dragonball fan, a lot of thought was put into this, so i hope you will enjoy reading through the list.

DragonBall Z Fan Comic: Multiverse Tournament[]

Hello again everyone!

This part of the list focuses on the fan comic; Multiverse Tournament written and drawn by Salagir and Gogeta Jr along with a few others. In my opinion, this comic is excellent and fulfills fans' dreams with "what-if" scenarios/fights. I am a huge fan of it and will therefore, attempt to create a power level list for it.

I must say though, that in this list, individuals who didn't survive in the main DBZ timeline, for example, Frieza and his family, survived in their respective universe and will therefore have a stronger power level than what we fans know they had in the main DBZ timeline.

Basically what i'm saying is that everyone will be stronger in their respective universes, and if you're not sure what i'm talking about, then i would suggest you go and have a quick read of the fan comic to get an understanding.

The only universe i will not be adding is Universe 2, because it is filled with characters from Toriyama's other work and therefore, they don't have power levels. Also this list will be updated as the fan comic continues...

This universe seems to be a series of standalone what-ifs that didn't make it to be their own alternate universes.The Saiyans rebelled against Frieza and were later destroyed by Dr Raichi and the only surivor is King Bardock. It is known that Dr Raichi was either directly or indirectly responsible for the eradications of the Saiyans excluding Bardock, who became King of all Saiyans after his rebellion and achieved the Super Saiyan state later on. King Piccolo has survived due to Kakarot not making it to Earth, or never being sent there because of Bardock's actions and has rejoined with Kami. Tapion was freed from the music box by Raichi. Hoi managed to convince him to open the box.

Universe 4[]

The battle between Vegito and Buu ended with Vegito being absorbed by the "Buu-goo" and reduced to a smaller size where he used an energy barrier to avoid being assimilated. However, Buu managed to assimilate Goku and Vegeta after they are defused; with 5 Saiyans now a part of his being, Buu was now officially the most powerful being in his universe and went on to absorbing everything he considered worthy of being absorbed in this reality.

Universe 5[]

I'm unable to make any guess to what XXI's power level is, purely based on the fact that this is an original character created by Salagir and Gogeta Jr and in the appearances he does make, pretty much nothing happens. He seems to be some kind of ancient and extremely powerful magician.

In his battle with Vegito, everyone is expecting Vegito to wipe the floor with him but XXI just sends Vegito to another dimension where time moves much slower than in the one where the Multiverse Tournament is taking place. Due to this, Vegito is disqualified because he is not in the ring area for more than 30 seconds (turns out he is in this other dimension for over 2 hours but to him, it only feels like 20 seconds has passed before he breaks out and returns).

He was recently interrupted by a portion of Buu from Universe 4 in his allocated apartment, where he seems to have a hidden "true form". However he was mostly hidden in dark smoke so at the moment, it is still unknown what or who he is. Whilst interrupted by Buu, he had more than enough power to completely vaporise the portion of Buu so it is presumed he is extremely powerful.

Universe 6[]

The events of Bojack Unbound diverge when Goku doesn't intervene in the battle with Bojack. Kogu and Bido are killed, while Gohan, Vegeta and many of the other Z-Fighters are killed in the battle.

The invasion of Namek occurred apparently without intervention of the Z-Fighters. To combat Frieza, the Nameks all fused together into a hyper-powerful being, identified as the Super Namek. This Super Namek defeated Frieza and later went onto defeat a lizard monster and a pink demon among many other adventures.

Universe 8[]

In this universe, after the battle with Vegeta and the Saiyans, Krillin does not react in time to Goku's pleas and kills Vegeta with Yajirobe's sword. Bulma, Gohan and Krillin go to Namek to find the DragonBalls. Dodoria goes to stop Gohan and Dende whilst they were on their way to see Guru, but he is killed by Nail. The newly empowered Gohan and Krillin confront Zarbon to stop him from killing innocent Namekians and after a hard battle, Zarbon manages to kill Krillin. Enraged, Gohan kills Zarbon in return. Nail, Gohan and Bulma formulate a plan to get the DragonBalls from Frieza's ship (similar to Vegeta's plan in DBZ). During the plan, Frieza confronts Nail and ends up killing him. Gohan and Bulma use the DragonBalls in a far away location and determined not to let the Z Fighters use them, Frieza blows Namek up with his Death Ball. Frieza's Empire still rules over the universe.

Universe 9[]

Not much is known about Universe 9's divergence from the main Dragon Ball timeline. Kulilin has become the new Kamesennin and doesn't recognize Son Goku as anything but another bloodthirsty Saiyan.Tien trained under Son Gohan, and Son Gohan introuced Tien to Master Roshi beacuse he was a disciple of Master Roshi himself. At some point Yamcha was augmented into a cyborg by Dr. Gero and given the designation Artificial Human #17. It is likely that Krillin led the hero group in Universe 9, much like Goku did in Universe 18. Tien and Krillin died at some point during the course of events, being able to train under King Kai and getting to learn the Kaioken. Yamcha is apparently married to Bulma and had a son named Trunks. Videl is also a fighter in Universe 9 and is much stronger than her Universe 18 counterpart. She is married to Trunks and they have a child together.

Universe 10[]

At some point prior to the events of Dragon Ball, Frieza is killed by the East Kaioshin, with all Kaioshin being alive due to Majin Buu never being created. Additionally, the Saiyans were never exposed to the technology of space travel, limiting their exposure to the rest of their universe and as a result are now "primitive versions" compared to the other universes. The Namekians, on the other hand, seem to have developed an improved space program compared to the Namekians of other universes, in that they were all able to flee their dying planet rather than only the son of Kattas. Kakarot never becomes Son Goku in this universe and according to his father, Bardock, did not survive for very long out of childhood, likely due to his low power-level at the time. At some point, Vegeta also succeeded his father with regard to the Royal Throne of the Saiyans.

Buu also seems much more amenable to following Babidi's orders than his Universe 18 counterpart.

It is revealed by Yamcha (Cyborg #17 of Universe 9) that the Cyborgs do not actually possess infinite energy and their energy merely decays over time, and he informs Android 18 that without proper maintenance she and her brother will break down to the point of not even being able to walk in ten years time.

In this universe, Vegito never defused, was able to defeat Kid Buu, and eventually had a daughter named Bra (shown in the special chapter with Bulma as her mother); since Uub was never the reincarnation of Majin Buu, he had a lot of time to train Pan, Bra, and himself. Gohan became the guardian of Earth once he learned to control his anger. Pan is shown to have unlocked the Super Saiyan form and Bra is shown to have unlocked the Super Saiyan 2 form. As for the others (Piccolo, Goten, Trunks and Videl), their lives are presumably identical to their Universe 18 counterparts.

They exhibit incredible technology, the likes of which can even respond to and surprise some of the more powerful warriors in the tournament like Uub and Majin Buu. Whilst the Heloites possess small power levels, their technology allows them to fight on the same level with the stronger warriors from other universes.

One small mistake and a quick heads-up for the movie and GT sections[]

After Son Goku and Son Gohan achieved Full Power Super Saiyan/Mastered Super Saiyan in the Time Chamber, it replaced their standard Super Saiyan form from that point onward all the way through GT; I like the list, but you might want to go back and correct this. As for the heads-up, in movie 8, Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans OVA, movie 9, movie 10, Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return OVA, and GT Son Goku (minus movie 9; Movie 10 sees Son Goku using Mastered Super Saiyan when performing the Family Kamehameha against Legendary Super Saiyan Broly's Omega Blaster) and Son Gohan (while performing the Bros. Kamehameha/Family Kamehameha against Legendary Super Saiyan Broly's Omega Blaster in movie 10) are Mastered Super Saiyans (in movie 10 Son Gohan first engages Legendary Super Saiyan Broly in battle as a Super Saiyan 2). Vegeta and Future Trunks battle as Ascended Super Saiyans in movie 8, Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans and movie 9. In movie 12, Son Goku first battles Janemba as a Super Saiyan 2 before powering up to Super Saiyan 3; Vegeta battles Super Janemba as a Super Saiyan 2. In movie 13, Son Goku and Vegeta fight Hirudegarn as Super Saiyan 2, with Son Goku later going Super Saiyan 3 to finish Hirudegarn with a Dragon Fist. In Battle of Gods, an enraged Vegeta attacks Lord Beerus as a Super Saiyan 2, while Son Goku later fights Lord Beerus as a Mastered Super Saiyan after powering down from Super Saiyan God (luckily fueled by some remaining Super Saiyan God energy). If you plan on continuing into GT, Baby-possessed Son Gohan and Vegeta fight each other as Super Saiyan 2, with Son Gohan fighting Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons as a Super Saiyan 2. Vegeta fights Super 17 and (before ascending to SSJ4) the Shadow Dragons as a Super Saiyan 2. If you are curious as to why I stated Vegeta as Super Saiyan 2 in the later movies and (along with Son Gohan) in GT, aura sparks are not the most reliable way to tell if a Saiyan is Super Saiyan 2 or not. Also considering that Vegeta is very smart when it comes to battle, he would obviously use his strongest form to battle enemies on par (and in GT, far stronger than) a Super Saiyan 3. Let's face it, a regular Super Saiyan couldn't do anything against Super Janemba, Hirudegarn, Lord Beerus, Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons; Ergo Vegeta (and in GT, Son Gohan) used Super Saiyan 2. The only time Vegeta did not use Super Saiyan 2 in a movie or OVA was in the Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return OVA when charging at Aka alongside Mastered Super Saiyan Goku. Hope this info helps. Mainly in the Boo saga... I noticed you take a minimalistic approach, but some of the gaps should be a lot bigger. Imperfect Cell should atleast be 3x Kamiccolo, he tanked his strongest move. Transformation error in "Bojack Unbounnd"[]

You correctly listed Future Trunks as Ascended Super Saiyan, but as I said in my first post Vegeta also battled Bojack as an Ascended Super Saiyan based on his more defined muscle mass, a trademark trait of the Ascended Super Saiyan form. Also i'm currently playing with the idea of adding DBGT, despite not particularly liking it, but since i've pretty much done everything else, i may as well do GT. It might take a little bit longer to add though since i have no previous idea of power levels from GT. Also i was under the impression that Goku and Vegeta had reached their peaks by the time of "10 Years after DBZ" and would actually start to decline in power?

I was also toying with the idea of adding power levels for the DB Multiverse Fan Comic.

My take on the DBZ cast "losing power" in GT[]

I honestly don't think a majority of the Z fighters "lost" power; It's just the villains in GT are LEAGUES beyond Z villains. Normal General Rildo alone was compared to Buuhan by base Goku, and Buuhan was far beyond SSJ3 Gotenks, Ultimate/Mystic Gohan, SSJ2 Vegeta, Super Namek Piccolo, and the rest of the Z fighters. Actually, the one who said that was Akira Toriyama, so you can just disregard what he said since he remembers next to nothing of Dragon Ball. Like you said, it won't make sense unless they really power up a lot until GT. Though I usually think of Super 17 as quite weak at the beginning, but then he powers up a lot after Goku throws several Kamehamehas at him and he absorbs them.

Well thank you for your opinion but the human power levels are the ones that i'm most definitely happy with. Think about it, Krillin got his potential unlocked by Elder Guru, the others trained on King Kai's planet, then all of them trained in preparation for the Androids and later on, Cell. In Buu saga, Krillin and Yamcha most likely to have stopped training due to Krillin having a family and Yamcha losing his will to fight because of the stronger Saiyans. Tien was the only one who continued to try and be the best he can be throughout his life, which is shown on multiple occasions.

Fairly certain humans can power up and down as well, just not as much as Piccolo or the Saiyans or any villains for obvious reasons.

Possibly Tenshinhan, and here's why:[]

Tenshinhan might be the exception to that Piccolo/Saiyan rule because he trains nonstop, whereas Krillin and Yamcha train less often. Krillin trains less because he has a family and child now; Yamcha seems to have lost interest in fighting sometime after the Cell Games. In contrast, Tenshinhan had the power to stop one of Buutenk's powerful attacks with a single Tri-Beam. Yes, Tenshinhan immediatly admitted that he couldn't counter Buutenks' "Destroy Everything!" energy attack but that still doesn't mean he's THAT weak. I'll bet he is around Buu Saga Super Namek Piccolo and could probably take on third form Freeza, maybe even final form. That's my two cents. My mistake[]

Sorry, I thought you meant me; My bad. Yes, I also agree that Toriyama has lost touch with the established Dragon Ball world. As far as humans always being weaker than other races I still disagree. Take for instance on King Kai's planet when (although this is filler, I'll still use it) Tenshinhan and Yamcha were able to defeat the strongest and most skilled members of the Ginyu Force (minus Captain Ginyu himself; That battle would be tougher for Ten and Yamcha fighting Ginyu 2-on-1) with Tenshinhan easily negating Butta and Jheese's Purple Comet Hurricane (their strongest attack) then defeating both individually using multi-form. On Namek, Vegeta stated Butta and Jheese were above his strength. As you know, using the multi-form technique splits the single fighter's original power level 50/50 between the resulting double. This means that Tenshinhan and his double each have a lower power level. Considering a power reduced Ten and his double beat Butta and Jheese (who surpassed Vegeta early in the Namek saga; Remember, upon first sensing the GF's power Vegeta shat himself) with little to-no-effort. Obviously this means pre-multi Tenshinhan (without the 50/50 power reduction) WAY surpasses Ginyu Saga Vegeta. Now take into account the non-stop training Ten does after defeating Butta and Jheese and all throughout the rest of DBZ. That's a LOT of training with should logically lead to an abnormally high power level. As for Yamcha, I do consider him a weak fighter by current standards. Bardock the father of goku[]

Wanted to point out the errors in the Bardock section:

You made most members of the Bardock elite higher then Nappa. Nappa is a general of the Saiyan Army, and a mid-class warrior. The Bardock crew are only low-class, so they should be lower than him.
Kid Vegeta is too low. In the Frieza saga, Vegeta says "I surpassed my father as a child", so Vegeta should already be in the 10,000s.

GT battles error[]

Just to let you know GT Gohan was SSJ2 in the battles against Super 17 and Omega Shenron, not just Vegeta; His hairstyle has one bang of hair hanging down which is the primary indication that any form of DBZ/DBGT Gohan is SSJ2, not MSSJ. Hello Everyone,

I have now finished the list including the Movies, TV Specials, and, reluctantly, DragonBall GT. As far as i'm concerned, i am quite happy with most of the levels now and i may make further minor adjustments due to advice from people.

The only thing left is to decide whether to add the "DragonBall Multiverse" fan comic power levels. Thankfully i actually have some background info on that and can make educated guesses from that.

Yeah, i have now added it, although it was done fairly quickly so may still make a couple of adjustments yet.

Adjustments and Revival of F[]

Hello everone,

Just so you know i will be making some adjustments to the format of my list to make it easier to read and understand.

Also i will be adding a section for Revival of F very soon! I haven't seen the whole film but the parts i have seen have given me quite a bit of info on the power levels which i can work with. Obviously when i do see the whole film, i will adjust the levels accordingly but for now i will make guesses on what i have seen from the film.
