Okay, after rewatching Buu Saga Gohan mention that Videl never know if she already surpass her father, Mr. Satan. How is that possble if she's already participate in Tenkaichi Budokai and using a punching machine. Shouldn't the punching machine measure every participants strength? If she's really stronger than Satan, why did Satan keep the highest record until Goku and co. participate...?
What do you think?
I belive that Videl was not old enough to enter the tournament, as there is a Junior Division, as you need to be 16+ to get in. I know they said that it was fairly new in age 774, but it has been confirmed by akira toriyama in an interview, that It was formed much before that, as Videl won in the 24th, at age 11/12. =) "It is known that this was the first tournament to feature a Junior Division in age 767." Hmmm... Okay, but what about during 25th Tenkaichi Budokai? She participated in Adult Divison, hitting the punching machine and she still strongly believed that her father is the strongest human. It's shown when #18 confirmed as Mr. Satan opponent, at that time Videl clearly said, "Too bad, you're gonna fight against my father." or something like that.
Doesn't this mean Videl punching score is lower than Mr. Satan? Or maybe Satan lose against Videl in every other aspect like skill and speed, but still win in strength department? Hiruman (talk) 06:31, May 26, 2014 (UTC)
Huh...You have a point there...Maybe she didn't belive her score or something when she used the punching machine, considering they didn't get a chance to use it after Vegeta...Lol, Broke it. =) Then we she finally got a score that was slighly/lower or both, than her dad, she accepted that the machine wasn't broken and contiued onwards. =) Would've actualy been helpful if they showed Gohan and Videl Qualify using the machines too...However likely just for off screen, due to time constraints.
