I'm not sure if we all realise the TRUE power of the DBZ cast. I think a little lesson is in order.
Back in the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai, Goku accidentaly became a Great Ape at the sight of the full moon that appeared in the tournament grounds. In response to this, Master Roshi (sitting comfortably at 139 power level), fired his Full Power Kamehameha. This attack by itsel, was enough to destroy the Moon, THE MOON. This power already puts his power far above most anime characters, as who do you know outside Dragon Ball destroys planets? Now according to my calculations, Tien at his first appearance should have been able to destroy the Earth (with a power level of 180) with a strong enough attack. It is safe to say that anyone above that level within DB should be able to destroy a planet the size of the Earth. (King Piccolo, 23rd Tournament Goku, Piccolo Junior, Tambourine, Yajerobe can't use energy based attacks.) Come Dragon Ball Z, we see the arrival of the first Saiyan Warrior, Raditz. Raditz's power level was at 1200 (which is more than 8 times more powerful than Master Roshi, the one who destroyed the Moon.) It is safe to say that Raditz could easily obliderate planets, cities, countries, and much more. Now walk outside your front door and look at the horizon, that's right until the ground meets the sky. All of which you have just seen would be gone in an instant by the power that lies in Raditz's fringertips.
And then we see by the end of the Frieza saga power levels like 150,000,000. I don't know how far you mind can stretch power, but I still cannot fathom what kind of destruction a power level over 10000 times greater than Raditz's could do. And now I present to you my closing statement:
Unless you are talking about Omnipotents, or characters the size of Galaxies (which I still think can be beaten by SSj3), anyone outside the Dragon Ball Universe, would, shit their pants.

I agree, Dragon Ball characters have insane power. I'd also like to add one thing. Remember Vegeta causing the Earth to shake in the beginning of DBZ? Remember Frieza causing a much bigger planet to tremble by going into his second weakest form? Now imagine Super Saiyan power, SSJ2, and 3. SSJ3 was shown causing natural disasters across the globe. I wonder how much damage SSJ4 Gogeta could cause to the Earth just by powering up. Something to think about.
