Okay so we know that his death was featured in the manga (a short story about F. Trunks called "The Lone Warrior") and the anime episode "Ghosts from Tomorrow", meaning he is canon to the main series. He's also (obviously) not evil, so I think Yemma would allow him to keep his body. That being said, why hasn't Goku run into him in otherworld (where he spent a great deal of time in post-Cell Games until Elder Kai gave his life to make Goku alive again)? Wouldn't he sense F. Gohan's energy (which, to Goku, may "feel" similar to P. Gohan's), or vice-versa (F. Gohan senses his father's ki; F. Gohan's not an idiot, so he would recognize the energy as his father's since he lived with him before F. Goku died of heart disease). I would have liked to see F. Gohan enter the Otherworld tournament and come across Goku (or be in the crowd watching and meet up with his father afterwords). Any thoughts?

He was in the other world. But in the future. It would make no sense for someone from the future, to be in the present otherworld. F. Gohan was there with F. Goku who had died from heart disease and F. Vegeta.
It is future, it's like a diffrent dimension. I don't think you get the whole idea. It was impossible for him to be there. And when present Gohan will die, there would be two Gohan's in heaven or what. There are at least 3 other alternate timelines that we know about. You want all characters from there to be also in the otherworld ? And besides that, Future Gohan was 23, at his times, Trunks was a teenager. So when he died, Goku wasn't in the otherworld anymore. When Trunks was a teenager, Gohan was 20, it was after the Buu Saga but before the World Tournament when Goku fought Uub. In the 10 years period. Goku was alive then. ^ This may not count, but (as you know) in SB-AR, F. Gohan is brought back by the Kais to help the present Z-Fighters. If what you said is true, then the kais must have the power to access the otherworld of ANY timeline.
Well, SB-AR takes place in Future Gohan's timeline, not in the main timeline, so that argument really has no meaning.
As many people have already said, SB-AR takes place in F.Gohan's timeline. They fight FUTURE Majin Buu. Everything is correct.
