Tapion is a great character lonely, heroic with many issues so i believe it would be great if in an episode in gt goku and the others find him and he helped them find the dragonball.
Yes! That would have been so win, even if it was just a small cameo, even just a flashback to show how Trunks got his sword. Speaking of, I think it would have been better if Trunks had actually used Tapion's sword in GT.

At the end of Wrath of the Dragon it seemed that Tapion used the time machine to go back to the past or something of that nature. So not only was he not in the same time period as everyone else, using the time machine makes a new timeline so he likely wasnt even in the same timeline as the mainstream cast either.
