Full Power, Goku! Captain Ginyu's Desperate Attack! (フルパワーだ孫悟空！おののくギニューに秘策あり!?, Furu Pawā da Son Gokū! Ononoku Ginyū ni Hisaku Ari!?) is the thirty-third overall episode in the Dragon Ball Z Kai series. The episode first aired on November 22nd, 2009. Its original American air date was July 22, 2010. Its Dragon Ball Z counterparts are "Frieza Approaches" and "Goku is Ginyu and Ginyu is Goku".

SummaryEdit

Goku powers up to his maximum level, which is far greater than what Captain Ginyu expected. The captain can do nothing but gawk at his more powerful opponent. After Grand Elder Guru unlocks Dende's hidden powers and sends him off to meet the Earthlings, Frieza arrives and is greeted by Nail who begins battling Frieza. While Frieza is clearly the stronger of the two, he is surprised at Nail's ability to regenerate lost limbs. Gohan and Krillin rescue Bulma from a dinosaur attack, and take the Dragon Radar to find where Frieza took the Namekian Dragon Balls. As the episode ends, Ginyu makes the strange move of wounding himself, and firing a strange beam at Goku.

TriviaEdit

• After the end credits and the teaser for the next episode, Ginyu (now in Goku's body) announces that he has replaced Goku as the show's main charcter and the show has been renamed Ginyu Force Z Kai. However, Gohan interrupts him and says otherwise. At the end of the teaser, he orders the viewer not to miss the show.
