Future Cell
From Dragon Ball Wiki, the ''Dragon Ball'' encyclopedia
Future Cell (or yet, Future Android 21) is the version of Cell that appeared in the alternate timeline in which Future Gohan and Future Trunks lived, and appeared in the Dragon Ball Z episode,"Free the Future". This version of Cell is much weaker than the Cell which is seen in the present timeline (although that Cell was also from another future alternate timeline, a world only seen briefly in a flashback), because this Cell did not absorb the two androids, Future Android 17 and Future Android 18 as the main Cell had done during the events of the Imperfect Cell Saga. In fact, Future Cell was never able to actually see the androids in the alternate timeline as Future Trunks had already destroyed them.
[edit] Biography
In the alternate timeline, the entire world was dominated by the androids, whom had lead a path of destruction for nearly two decades until finally being defeated by Future Trunks after he had taken his trip to the past and increasing his strength tremendously. When Future Cell's evolution was finished, the Androids had evidently already been killed, thus Cell's search for the machines was in complete vain. Cell continued to kill and absorb people in order to become stronger, so that he could successfully absorb the two androids, and reach his perfect form.
As the evil android continued his quest for the androids, Future Cell met Future Trunks while pillaging through West City. After a quick and decisive battle, Future Trunks dominated and killed Future Cell with only his Super Saiyan power, thus ending the horrors of his time.
