Gingertown

Gingertown is a suburb of West City.

Imperfect Cell made his first appearance when he absorbed the town's population during the Imperfect Cell Saga. Not long thereafter, the news agencies from West City arrived, but were also absorbed. The only living inhabitant seen in the series is the Richest man in Gingertown, who was about to be absorbed by Cell when Piccolo arrived. Piccolo was not fast enough to save him, and the poor helpless man was absorbed completely by Cell, leaving only his clothes and his money. Incidentally, this man was the first victim to be seen absorbed by Cell.

Gingertown is the site of Imperfect Cell's fight with the Super Namek, Piccolo (Piccolo's first fight after fusing with Kami). The town was mostly destroyed during the fight between Piccolo and Imperfect Cell. Cell was too strong for Piccolo to defeat him, probably because the city had a large population, thus greatly increasing Cell's strength.

After Cell's defeat, the Z Fighters used the Dragon Balls to resurrect those who were killed by Cell, among whom were the town's citizens.
