"Attack the opponent at blinding speeds and a flurry of strikes before firing a powerful Ki Blast! The blast is stronger the more Ki you have left. If the opponent dodges, you can use some Ki to chase them down!"
Godly Display Ultimate Skill description in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Godly Display (神越演武 Jinkoshi Enbu) is a powerful Ultimate Super Attack used by Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Overview[]

Goku charges forward, landing a hard blow before unleashing a barrage of successive bicycle kicks, using the final kick to launch his opponent away. Then, he raises his right hand, charging a massive amount of brilliant white ki into a giant energy sphere, and flings it down at his opponent, watching the ensuing explosion.

If the opponent dodges the energy sphere, Goku can use some Ki to chase them down.

Video Game Appearances[]

Godly Display was named and first appeared in Xenoverse 2 as one of Goku's Ultimate Skills in his Ultra Instinct form as part of the Extra Pack 2 DLC. It was among one of the few skills that can't be obtained by the Future Warrior until the 1.14.00 Update DLC on August 26, 2020. After the update, Godly Display can be purchased from the TP Medal Shop. According to its description, the energy sphere is stronger the more ki the user has left and if the opponent dodges the energy sphere, they can use ki to chase them down.

Trivia[]

  • Its Japanese name, Jinkoshi Enbu (神越演武), is a curious case. It doesn't actually have a translation in Japanese, however, when written in Chinese (Shén Yuè Yǎnwǔ), it basically means "Practice Martial Arts to surpass god", being an obvious reference to Goku practicing Martial Arts and by extension, achieving the Ultra Instinct to surpass Beerus and all the Gods of Destruction.
