Also in the Part 8 set, Gogeta is depicted with one hand raised up in preparing for an energy-induced maneuver. Here, the shading has even more impression due to being a monotone black and white variant. The shading scheme is very smooth and on the mark in terms of precision and style. This, like its colored version, is an overall very well-done model. Unlike the color version, Gogeta does not have a transparent hue for his hand for the black and white variant.

HybridActionGogetaA

Hybrid Action series Gogeta figure

  • Hybrid Action series
  • Release date: 2007

Bandai's "Hybrid Action" series is likely the absolute best aside from Unifive's Posing series in terms of complete articulation. This series features figures with extreme detail yet allows for a nice repertoire of poses to be done. Articulation plays a large role when it comes to basic scale action figures and is likely a great differentiating factor amongst the versatility of specific collectibles. In this case, the Hybrid Action Gogeta figure is quite a great addition to anyone interested in high levels of articulation. This specific piece was released in April, 2007. Depicted with a serious expression, the highly articulated figure comes with many bends and turns, being quite easy to pose at the joints as well as having circular rotations. The figure is able to be posed in numerous positions, similar to Unifive's Posing series, but at a slightly larger scale. Along with this versatility, another interesting feature to note is the additional pair of inter-changeable hands that come in the packaging. This allows for different postures and overall stances. The figure has over 20 points of articulation and comes complete with a stand and base. The specific Gogeta piece stands at approximately 5 inches. He is designated as "Gogeta" on the packaging front. Pieces included in the Hybrid Action collection are Vegito, Kid Buu, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Future Trunks, Bardock, Vegeta, Perfect Cell, Super Saiyan Broly, Super Saiyan Gotenks, Super Saiyan Teen Gohan, Super Saiyan Future Trunks, Goku, adult Gohan, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Goku (GT), Majin Buu, Super Saiyan Vegeta, Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan Gogeta, Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, Piccolo, and Super Saiyan Vegito.

  • Release date: 2007

Released in May 2007 by Bandai, the GT series was added to the original “Soul of Hyper Figuration” set, including both gray (black and white) versions and colored versions of the same figures in the set. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta was included in the Part 2 set along with numerous other GT characters. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta comes in a backward bouncing blast posture in this set, with his legs flailing as he prepares his Bigg Bang Attack. This blast is highlighted by his hands having a transparent yellow glow as he is yet to unleash this deadly attack. He is seen holding a serious expression, and his wonderfully carved fur and hair add detail to this piece. The most noticeable quality on this piece is the movement depicted, which is unique for the character.

Ultimate Collection Wave 3 Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta figure

  • Ultimate Collection Wave 3
  • Release date: Canceled

The Ultimate Collection series is another unique one released by Bandai in 2008. It incorporates six additional figures with additional accessories. The special aspect of this set is the incorporation of Shenron as a secret golden variant figure, allowing for him to be a snap-together piece when all the other characters are brought together. Each figure includes one of Shenron's body parts. The complete figure is also well-crafted for a 5-inch scale collectible. Wave 3 of this series completes a golden base Shenron while Wave 1 completes a basic green Shenron and Wave 2 completes Porunga. The figures included in this Wave 3 set along with the attached figurine part are as follows: Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta [GT boxart] (With Golden Dragon Piece), Omega Shenron [GT boxart] (With Golden Dragon Piece), Super Saiyan 3 Goku (With Golden Dragon Piece), Kid Buu [named "Majin Buu" on packaging] (With Golden Dragon Piece), Super Saiyan Gotenks (With Golden Dragon Piece), and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta (With Golden Dragon Piece). All the figures also come with parts of the dragon and base allowing for the character to be brought together in perfect unison. This version of the set is the Japanese release, having a unique packaging for the complete set. However, after much anticipation, this series was due for release in 2008 but was partially canceled. The Kid Buu and Super Saiyan 3 Goku figures were released, followed by the SS Gotenks, while the Omega Shenron, SS4 Vegeta, and SS4 Gogeta, were removed from the released roster, having only three of the planned six figures actually released. This not only provided a problematic situation for fans who wanted to complete the Golden Shenron figurine, but also canceled the release of these characters although the prototypes can be seen on the packaging. Additionally, the Kid Buu and Super Saiyan 3 Goku figures in the Ultimate Collection set came packaged with transparent yellow and pink blasts instead of parts of the Golden Shenron.

  • 10th Anniversary Collector Edition
  • Release date: 2005

Jakks Pacific has released a 10th Anniversary Super Saiyan Gogeta figure as a part of the Dragon Ball Z series additions to the "10th Anniversary Collector Edition." Released in 2005, this specific piece portrays Gogeta with some detailed touch-ups in terms of the paint job. Additionally, there's a small imprint on his pants which reads the 10th Anniversary as its initial paint job designation. The figure is entitled "SS Gogeta" as his alternate naming scheme and he still maintains the same look and is seen with his hands in open postures in the packaging. The new paint job features a distinct shading palette as well as the distinctive logo mark on Gogeta's pants which reads "DBZ 10 Year Anniversary." The box mockup is highlighted by a galactic blue background and numerous sparks as the backdrop. Gogeta's image is featured on the box front in pictorial format and the packaging shape is that of an oval shape. The Gogeta figure is a great addition to the 10th Anniversary set and it also comes with a golden chrome Chibi Goku figurine inside the packaging. This is quite a rarity as it was released in scarce quantities, coincidentally making this piece highly collectible in this format. Other pieces included in this same 10th Anniversary set are Vegeta, Majin Buu (entitled "Fat Buu"), Mr. Satan (entitled "Hercule"), and Battle-Damaged Goku for the single pack figures. Additionally, double-packs were included in this collection, featuring Semi-Perfect Cell (entitled "Cell") vs. Tien, Recoome vs. Battle Damaged Goku, and Bardock vs. Goku.

The paint job in particular is exquisite for a large-scale figure, allowing for all the features to be seen in greater depth. Also, there is a good deal of articulation allowed for such a large figure, particularly in terms of both legs having double horizontal joints for unique poses. The distinguishing factor for this large collectible is the extreme angered expression on his face as well as his Halo being an evident feature. Also included in this Movie Collection 15 set are Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan Gotenks.

Additionally, the packaging features a Dragon Ball Kai logo as opposed to the more precise Dragon Ball Z logo, which in this case makes the labeling for the piece rather erroneous. There are two different variants of this Gogeta piece available. The packaging and contents make for the primary differences. This version comes with a specially enhanced foil trading card, additional inter-changeable arms and a Super Saiyan head as well as a Dragon Ball as accessories. The packaging top featuring the Dragon Ball Kai logo distinctly has the star on the "Dragon Ball Kai" phrase. The future variant would not hold this same logo. Additionally, this version comes with the foil trading card while the next one would not. Also available in this Dragon Ball Kai packaging set with foil cards are the following characters: Piccolo, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Vegeta (Saiyan Saga), Vegeta (Frieza Saga), Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta (GT), Super Saiyan Future Trunks, 2 variants of Goku, and Vegito.

Dragon Ball "what if" scenario Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta Variant A figurine

  • What-If Scenario series
  • Release date: Unknown

A most recent release has constituted Gogeta in a very unique way, although seemingly non-canon to the GT universe. He apparently has been displayed with his fur having an altered look as if he's a Super Saiyan 5, where the fur is altered to appear as icy blue as a yeti. The model is very similar to previous Banpresto and Bandai releases, but is neither of the aforementioned. Unlike any previous releases, this piece remains a "what-if" scenario addition, like others also released in the same set, which are comprised of Saiyan characters with odd fusion and Super Saiyan transformations. The only character portrayed in a canon fashion in this set is Broly, who appears in his pre-transformed state. Others also included in this 12 cm set with bases and who are non-canon by their appearance are Turles (with red fur), Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta (with silver fur and silver hair), Super Saiyan 4 Goku (with silver fur and silver hair), and a very odd Super Saiyan Gotenks with a dark skin tone, orange hair, and an alternate clothing pattern. The figurines come with miniature bases to stand on, which add congruence to the overall set as a whole.

GogetaAAWhatIfKey

Dragon Ball "what if" scenario Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta Variant A keychain

  • What-If Scenario series
  • Release date: Unknown

The same unique set that has constituted Gogeta in a seemingly non-canon manner to the GT universe has also been made available in keychain format. He apparently has been displayed with his altered fur to have an icy blue look for this Super Saiyan 4 or Super Saiyan 5 spectacle, where the fur is altered to appear light-silver and blue. These keychains are likely the same figurines from the "what-if" scenario set mentioned above but are fitted into a keyholder slot, allowing for them to be used as keychains as opposed to figurines.

GogetaKeyWhatIf

Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta Variant B what-if scenario series keychain figurine

  • What-If scenario series
  • Release date: Unknown

Another very unique set has been incorporated in a keychain format similar to the High Grade releases by Banpresto. A model of Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta appears as a part of this set. His posture is one of serious concentration as he is seen standing as his RealWorks piece. Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta appears in a fused format between his basic appearance and somewhat additional touch-ups reminiscent to that of a silver-coated yeti. He has an additional differential added in the form of his belt area having the toppling green clothing with insignia in front. Other pieces included in this what-if set are a fusion of Super Saiyan 5 Broly, a Super Saiyan 4 fusion of Gotenks, a Kid Buu fusion, Super Saiyan 5 Vegeta, and Super Saiyan 5 Goku. The figures stand at approximately 9 cm (Kid Buu fusion) to 13 cm (Super Saiyan 5 Broly).

SS5GogetaAA

Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta Variant B what-if scenario series figure

  • What-If scenario series
  • Release date: Unknown

The same what-if scenario set from the aforementioned keychain series was also released with transparent bases, ranging from 10 cm (Kid Buu fusion) to 14 cm (Super Saiyan 5 Broly) with their bases. Nothing is altered for these pieces in terms of design as they are the same molds and models but without the pierced keychain slots and instead with their unique transparent round bases. The Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta is a nice addition to any collector of the what-if scenario figurines and goes along well with the other wild and intense figurines that transcend the imagination for Dragon Ball super-powered warriors.

SS5GogetaBB

Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta Variant C What-If Figure

  • What-If Scenario Series
  • Release date: Unknown

A most recent release has constituted Western Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta with silver-blue fur in a very unique way, although many of the other characters in the same set are seemingly non-canon to the series universe. He apparently has been displayed with a fighting posture as he prepares a powerful energy blast via his encircling arms. The model is very similar to previous Banpresto and Bandai releases, but is neither of the aforementioned. Unlike any previous releases, this is a stand-alone piece offered by neither of the aforementioned companies. Most of the pieces in this set remain "what-if" scenario additions, which are comprised of Saiyan characters with odd Super Saiyan transformations. The only other character portrayed in a canon fashion in this set is Broly, who appears in his pre-transformed state with shiny greenish-blueish hair. Others also included in this 12 cm set with bases and who are non-canon by their appearance are Western Supreme Kai, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (Vegeta skipped this level in canon and progressed directly to level 4), Super Vegito (with silver hair), and Goku (with intricate non-canon clothing). The figurines come with miniature transparent bases to stand on (engraved with a symbol stating AF), which add congruence to the overall set as a whole.

Mexican Manufacturer[]

SS4GogetaMexicanAA

Mexican Manufactured Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta figure

  • Dragon Ball Z GT Series
  • Release date: Unknown

This model was re-released by a Mexican Manufacturer. The actual mold is a variant of the SBC Vol. 42 piece with very minor differences, as many and most of the bases are just redone reversions of other figures and/or just plain bootlegs of other sculpts. The paint job isn't particularly brilliant in this figure's case and the hair area is slightly different as it doesn't topple over the face, but rather, has more forehead area showing. There are some other minor differences in the coloring pattern, such as Gogeta having a yellow and blue vest instead of the SBC piece, which comes with his original orange and black one. Additionally, the piece also has very bright red fur as opposed to the burgundy seen on the SBC figure. Differences on this Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta here are the paint job of his vest, shoes, belt, etc. but there's a strong differential seen in his eyes as well. There is less impression around his eyes along with somewhat mis-coloring on this version in comparison to the SBC piece.

This model of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta features a red transparent hue and portrays Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta with his hands kept beside him as he stands firm with a confident expression.

GogetaMexicaA

Mexican Manufactured Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta figure

  • Dragon Ball Z GT Series
  • Release date: Unknown

This hard-to-find model was sculpted by a Mexican Manufacturer. The actual mold is quite unique and unlike other models, as many and most of the bases are just redone reversions of other figures and/or just plain bootlegs of other sculpts. This one, however, is a new model in and of itself and was sculpted and sold as is. The paint job isn’t particularly brilliant in this figure’s case and the actual mold itself isn’t outstanding either, but it is unique and compared to most bootlegs or copied imports, it still exists as its own mold rather than a complete bootleg. However, the mold itself isn’t anywhere near as well-made as the Omega Shenron and Oceanus Shenron models presented by the Mexican Manufacturers. Differences on this Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta here are the paint job of his vest, which has a slight mis-coloring, portraying it with a red tint on the corners as opposed to his original yellow and the very color of his belt, which holds a black hue for this piece although he really wears a navy blue tone. He is seen holding a screaming battle roar and tightly grips his hands, a very unique touch to the sculpt itself.
