Golden Dome Attack (ヒートドームアタック) is an energy sphere technique used by Gohan. First, Gohan forms a massive golden-yellow energy shield around his body. Then, he charges more power, condensing the energy shield into a large spiraling energy sphere in front of him. Finally, Gohan fires the energy sphere at the opponent in a fashion similar to an Energy Wave, inflicting high amount of damage.

Gohan uses this attack to destroy the Makyo Star. While Gohan uses an energy shield to protect himself, Piccolo, and Krillin from Garlic Jr.'s Dead Zone, Kami and Mr. Popo soon emerge from the spirit world inside the Lookout. With Kami back, Piccolo regains enough strength for him and Krillin to exit the energy shield. While Piccolo and Krillin distract Garlic Jr., Gohan destroys the Makyo Star with the Golden Dome Attack, depriving Garlic Jr. of all of his strength and sucking him back into the Dead Zone.
