I'll Shoot You! (撃っちゃうわよ! Uttyauwayo!) is a Rush Attack used by members of the Red Ribbon Army and Pasta Macareni.

Overview[]

Redribbon8

Blue aims his Ithaca M37 pump-action shotgun towards a paralyzed Goku

The user takes out a large Rocket Launcher or a shotgun, and fires it at the opponent, inflicting a great deal of damage.

Usage[]

This attack was originally used by Colonel Silver to shoot down Goku's Flying Nimbus in Dragon Ball. The rocket launcher used to perform this technique strongly resembles a Panzerschreck, which is a Nazi-German anti-tank missile launcher. After which Colonel Silver hits Goku and his Flying Nimbus (suffered some damage because of the explosion), the fight between both starts.

General Blue uses an Ithaca M37 pump-action shotgun instead of a rocket launcher, after paralyzing Goku during their battle in the Pirate Cave. But General Blue cannot kill Goku because he is scared by an unexpected mouse. Having broken his concentration by the animal, Goku attacks and defeats Blue. His comments just before bringing out the shotgun indicated that he preferred simply beating Goku to death, but the impending collapse of the Pirate Cave forced him to settle with simply shooting Goku in order to buy enough time for himself to find the Dragon Ball and escape.

In the Dragon Ball Super manga, Pasta used this technique against Merus.

Video Game Appearances[]

I'll Shoot You! was named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 as one of General Blue's Blast 2, where he uses Silver's rocket launcher.

In Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure and Dragon Ball: Origins 2, Blue uses his shotgun instead of the rocket launcher.

Trivia[]

  • Largely because it was first named as one of General Blue's attacks in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, the attack's Japanese name is given in feminine language, as evidenced by it ending with "wa yo", which in Japanese is used for more feminine language.
