Jade is a live-action hybrid between Chi-Chi and Penny from Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins.
Biography
When her father was about to be given the One-Star Dragon Pearl as a gift for becoming the new ruler of the village, King Horn and his forces arrive and start destroying the village and killing people for the pearl. Jade was forced to run away and see her parents get killed. She is then seen running away from Piggy a shapeshifter who was trying to kidnap her and make her his bride but she was saved when Monkey Boy and Seetoe showed up and reformed Piggy to join them. Jade and Seetoe show up in the middle of Monkey Boy and Westwood's which causes him to run away. Jade joins Monkey Boy, Seetoe and Piggy on their quest and goes with them to see the Turtle Man on his island.
While there they obtain a Dragon Pearl that the Turtle Man made Westwood give to them and one that the Turtle Man gives to them. Two of King Horn's henchmen, Zebrata and Malilia come to the island and destroy his house stealing the two Dragon Pearls. Jade comes with the Turtle Man, Monkey Boy, Seetoe, Piggy, Westwood and his bird Miss Knowwhat to go back to Jade's Village and take out King Horn. After Malilia and Zebrata were both defeated, they challenge King Horn.
During the fight, Monkey Boy's grandfather Sparkle is released and King Horn resurrects all of the people he killed to attack the gang. Jade's parents are brought back and they start attacking Jade but Monkey Boy saves her when he attacks King Horn making it stop. After King Horn is defeated the dragon is summoned and Jade makes a wish to bring peace back to her land and have it restored.
Trivia
- She is a hybrid between Penny and Chi-Chi. She is like Chi-Chi because of her appearance along with the fact that her village resembles Fire Mountain and her father is the leader of it but she is like Penny in terms of her role in the story and the fact that she had no romantic interest for Goku.
- The description on the back of the English DVD box lists her as Chi Chi.
