Lariat is a rush attack used by Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan form during the battle on New Planet Vegeta. It was identified in Daizenshuu 6.

Overview

Broly proceeds to rush at the enemy at high speed and then grab his opponent by the neck just as they turn around, slamming him/her into a wall with enough force to leave a massive crater upon impact. He then continues forcing the opponent through the crater and simultaneously strangling them, before eventually releasing them and letting them fall to the ground upon the enemy losing consciousness.

Usage

Broly uses this attack in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan as his finisher on Super Saiyan Vegeta, who reacted with horror just as he turned around and got pinned to the nearby cliffside. Upon Vegeta passing out, reverting to base form, Broly is surprised that Vegeta's already finished, before stating that what he heard about the Saiyan Prince was that he was "all talk and no action," and thus "a true piece of trash," and deduced the claims must have been true due to this.
