The Litts (リット星人, Ritto-seijin) are a race of bird-like warriors from planet Litt who work for Frieza's Galactic Frieza Army.

Overview

The Litts are first mentioned during the Captain Ginyu Saga when Vegeta said that the small Battle Armor he gave to Gohan and Krillin were actually made for the Litts.

They are later seen during the Garlic Jr. Saga, when Vegeta attacks their planet on his search for Goku in space, killing a group of soldiers. The Litts do not know that Frieza had been defeated by Goku at the time. One of the soldiers, the last surviving one on the battlefield, wonders why Frieza would order Vegeta to do something like that to his race. Vegeta then interrogates this soldier, hoping to get some answers on Goku's whereabouts.

In the movie Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan, Litts with a green-colored skin comprise the majority of Paragus' soldiers. They are led by Angol.

Trivia

  • The name Litt is a pun on "little" due to the child-size of the race.
  • Their planet is called Lilliput in the Viz translation of the Dragon Ball manga, a reference to the fictional island of tiny people in the novel Gulliver's Travels.[1]
  • The Litts' armor is used as a defense skill in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series. This set of armor, referred to as "Rit armor" is used by the fighters under Frieza's faction, including Vegeta, Raditz and Nappa. As in the first Budokai, Rit Armor's comment addresses the Litt race as "Rits".
  • In Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, if the Future Warrior talks to Frieza (as their Master) while wearing Krillin's Battle Armor, Frieza will recognize the battle armor for members of the Litt race which he refers to as "Littians".[2]
