Upon shouting "Formation!" the Kamikaze Fireball members completely transform their body, becoming far different in appearance from their base states and much more powerful. All of their skin coloration turn teal by this transformation. The transformation is shown to be impractically long, as Android 17 is able to easily interrupt them; they only manage to finish due to Goku's curiosity and Toppo's sense of fair play and justice. Although, when Universe 2 is about to be erased, the Kamikaze Fireballs managed to transform without taking much time.
Brianne uses this transformation to become Ribrianne in order to take down two people who believe she is too weak to join Team Universe 2, and later when deciding to get serious for the Tournament of Power. During the Tournament of Power, Su uses this transformation to become Rozie, and Sanka uses it to become Kakunsa.
With the power of love from all of the people of Universe 2 who were watching the power, Zirloin, Rabanra, and Zarbuto were able to use Formation - taking on the powers of Ribrianne, Kakunsa, and Rozie respectively.
Super Magical Girl
By gathering the power of love from Heles, Rozie, and Sanka, Ribrianne is able to transform further into Super Ribrianne.
Lovely Love, Love Magical Girl
By gathering the love from most of Team Universe 2, Brianne is able to transform into Lovely Love, Love Ribrianne, which is made out of pure energy. After reverting to Brianne, she utilizes this state to fight Android 18 but is easily defeated.
- This transformation is a parody of the (魔法 少女 mahō shōjo, also known as mahou shoujo or majokko) subgenre of manga and anime which includes series such as and . The magical girl transformation is a standard trope of the subgenre, though the version seen in Dragon Ball Super is a parody as most magical girl transformations in anime and manga involve the girls changing into cute, more elegant, or even more revealing costumes, while the Kamikaze Fireballs' transformations do the opposite for humorous effect.
- However this is not the first time that the Dragon Ball series has parodied Japanese media tropes and subgenres as the Ginyu Force, Saiya Squad, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, and Pride Troopers all parody the superhero genre which includes series such as , , and (as well Super Sentai's revised American localization ).
- The activation of Ribrianne's final form is a parody of the "Miracle Lights" used in various movies of the Pretty Cure franchise, where the heroine gains the power of the audience and the cast to awaken a super-form to defeat a powerful opponent.
