Meteor Smash (メテオスマッシュ) is a rush attack used by Goku in his Super Saiyan form.
Overview
First, as he says "It's over.", Goku punches the opponent in the stomach. Then, he punches the opponent away and flies after them to right hook kick them in their face. Finally, Goku axe kicks the side of the opponent's head, knocking them away and inflicting a great deal of damage.
Goku uses this attack during his battle against 100% Power Frieza on the nearly destroyed Namek. After being elbowed into a cliff by Goku, Frieza attacks and knocks Goku down to the ground before saying he is just a beast. However, Goku stands up and asks if it is all that Frieza has. An angry Frieza tries to attack Goku again, but Goku dodges the attack and counters with the Meteor Smash rush, smashing Frieza across the ground.
Appearances in games
Meteor Smash was named in the Butōden series, where it is a secret attack for Goku and Super Goku. The attack is part of the Meteor Attacks.
The attack has resurfaced in the Budokai Tenkaichi series as one of Goku's Blast 2 attacks in his Super Saiyan form. However, each game in the series, including the Raging Blast games and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi, changes the way the attack is performed. For instance, in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Goku finishes the attack by kicking the opponent up, knee striking them in the back, and using a Double Axe Handle to knock them down. The Meteor Smash can also be used in Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect, and J-Stars Victory Vs (even in normal state in this last one).
