NBS News is a recurring news station in the Dragon Ball series. An enormous NBS monitor is located in Central City.

OverviewEdit

It first appeared in "Lost and Found" where they announce that King Piccolo was defeated by Goku. Later, Piccolo's adoptive father is seen watching it on his big screen TV.

It appears in Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug where the station is covering the impending asteroid impact, which is later revealed to be Lord Slug's spaceship. This news was covered by M. Hashimoto.

Master Roshi, Oolong and Chiaotzu are seen watching it in the Androids Saga episode "A Handy Trick". M. Hashimoto reports explosions in a city on Amenbo Island, explosions which was actually caused by Android 19 and Android 20.

NBS News makes a cameo appearance in the NES game Dragon Ball: Daimaō Fukkatsu.
