Olibu is a dead fighter representing the North Quadrant and next to Goku is its best fighter. King Kai has stated that most of his home planet's (Earth's) heroic legends, as well as a few cartoons, are based on Olibu. The well-known Olibu lost in the semifinals of the Other World Tournament to Pikkon, who made to the last match. He is also seen with another fighter sparring with Yamcha and taunted Kid Buu, along with Pikkon. It is speculated that Korin Tower was built in his honor.

- Olibu may be based off of Hercules in terms of having "heroic legends" being based on him, as King Kai himself suggested. He also resembles He-Man from the Masters of the Universe series, and bares some resemblance to Conan the Barbarian.
