Ponkarn is a short, orange minion of Dr. Raichi in the OVA Dragon Ball Z: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans. He is often mistaken as Kinkarn (who was killed by Goku with a punch in the face).

BiographyEdit

Ponkarn appears at Grand Apron, the destination of the first Destron Gas ventilation unit. He first shoots a ki blast at Goku, who bats it away. Ponkarn then takes on Goku (Super Saiyan) for a short while. After dodging and blocking Kinkarn's attacks, Goku starts outmatching the monster and delivers the same blow as he did to Kinkarn in the face in the end, which sends him plummeting down a cliff and gets killed upon impact on a piece of rock face.

Special abilitiesEdit

• Flight – The ability to fly with the use of ki.
• Energy Wave – The most basic form of ki blast. It is the first attack he used against Goku in the OVA.
• Self Destruction – Used in the Famicom video game.
