Quiet Rage (静かな怒り) is a rush attack used by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form.

Overview

QuietRageOnBido

Gohan punches Bido

In the manga and anime series, the basic concept consists of Gohan throwing a single blow while everything turns blue except the background which turns black, slices the opponent in two, and detonates the body. Gohan produces a bluish-purple aura as he charges at the opponent and uppercuts them up into the air. Then, he flies up into the air past the opponent and says, "I thought I already told you." as he hand chops them down to the ground. Finally, Gohan quickly moves down to the ground and he shouts "No mercy!" as he kicks the opponent back up into the air, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Gohan kicks Bujin in half

Gohan used this attack to defeat the last remaining Cell Juniors created by Perfect Cell. Realizing they could not defeat Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form, the Cell Juniors unleashed their strongest attacks against the young Saiyan. However, Gohan was barely fazed, and blasted the Cell Juniors with multiple energy waves fired from his aura. Gohan then attacked and killed the fleeing Cell Juniors with the Quiet Rage rush, much to the shock of the Z Fighters and even Perfect Cell. With the Cell Juniors defeated, Gohan gave the stolen bag of Senzu Beans to Future Trunks to heal the Z Fighters and prepared to fight Perfect Cell. Gohan also uses this rush in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, on the Galaxy Soldiers Bujin, Bido and Bojack after turning into a Super Saiyan 2.
