Overview
Edit

Added by Jeangabin666Gotenks first uses this technique against Super Buu. When Gotenks charges at the Majin with the Rolling Thunder Punch, Super Buu tells him to stop and Gotenks stops before he can punch Super Buu in the stomach. Then Super Buu tells Gotenks to hit him in the face, to which Gotenks angrily responds "Do not tell me how to fight" and charges the Rolling Thunder Punch again, but in helicopter way this time. He jumps and to punches Super Buu in the face, as Super Buu suggests. Even though Buu takes a direct hit from Gotenks, the attack is unsuccessful in doing any damage.
Gotenks later uses the Rolling Thunder Punch in the special Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! While in his Super Saiyan form, he uses it against Aka, propelling him into a lake.
Appearances in Video Games
Edit
Goten uses this in Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 3, named Super Uppercut. The Rolling Thunder Punch is one of Gotenks' charged strikes in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, and his heavy blow in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2.
Trivia
Edit
- The Rolling Thunder Punch is similar to the attack Pirozhki used during the Cell Games. Although, the Rolling Thunder Punch is much more powerful and inflicts much more damage due to Gotenks being stronger than Pirozhki.
